Decorating Tips For Halloween

Boohh Halloween is here

Can you feel Halloween in the air? People are geeting excited preparing for the Halloween parties -costumes, decorations, school parties, kids are getting batty over the preparations...

Hope you are too. If you don't have ideas for your celebrations yet, we'd like to share few green tips that will make the difference to your enjoyment.

For the decorations:

1 Hollow out mini pumpkins and use as  candle holders. They look really great, and are inexpensive. You can even carve or paint faces in them! (click here to know how to)

2 - An easy tip to enhance your party décor! is to ask your Halloween guests to bring a carved pumpkin to the party. Set up a special table to display them all on. Easy decoration and everybody contributes.

3 - Spookify your computer with a scary screensaver!

4 - Serve food like fresh veggies on a hollowed out pumpkin as a bowl. Just cut of the top off and empty it,  cut the top in a jagged edge pattern. You can use mini pumpkins for dips!

5  For taper candle holders use apples. Choose the ones with flat bottom to be safe. Cut a small round hole in the top of each apple  to hold a taper candle. Make sure the apples are shaped so that they have a flat bottom.

7 An alternative to bobbing for apples is to hang them by their stems with thread from the ceiling and let party goers try to bite them!

6 Have all your guests join in a circle and start a ghost story!  Each one adds on to the story til it reaches a scary ending!

8 Hang long strands of white thread on your porch to simulate spider webs. Make them long enough so that little kids will be able to feel them, too. Wet them or add a spooky effect to them

9 Hold a pumpkin carving contest for your kids and their friends. Painting them is also an alternative.

10 Making your own blood with beetroot, it is safer and less expensive than buying ready made!

11 Keep your pumpkin seeds when gutting your pumpkin so you can roast them up later for a fun Halloween treat!
